ARACIL

ARACIL is a Spanish DJ and producer. He grew up in a family of musicians in the north of Spain, found electronic music in London at seventeen, and has lived in Ibiza since 2012. His sets run from deep house into melodic techno, with a strong Berlin influence.

ARACIL is a Spanish DJ and producer based in Ibiza. Born into a family of musicians, he moved to London at seventeen and started playing records there. In 2012 he settled in Ibiza and began producing. He has been part of the island's scene ever since, and tours internationally around the season. His sound sits between deep house and melodic techno, built on harmony rather than shock, with Berlin in the background. He releases on Einmusika, Katermukke, Bar 25 Music, Dantze, Seven Villas and Ritter Butzke, often alongside Niconé, and has played UNTOLD in Romania and Caprices in Switzerland.

In 2012 he settled in Ibiza and started producing. He has lived on the island ever since, more than a decade of seasons, with dates through Europe, Asia and Latin America around them. His music sits between deep house and melodic techno and carries a strong Berlin influence. He works with vocalists and writes long arcs rather than quick payoffs. A set is a piece of writing, not a sequence of records. Emerging Ibiza named him one of the best new DJ/producers in 2015. He has since played UNTOLD in Cluj-Napoca and Caprices in Crans-Montana, appeared at the DJ Awards ceremony and the International Music Summit, held residencies at Heart Ibiza and Acid Sundays, and released on Einmusika, Katermukke, Bar 25 Music, Dantze, Seven Villas and Ritter Butzke, often with Niconé.
